End of the day - Lyrics
Roused by a sense of yearning, weighing possibilities.
Choosing what I’ll do… on the dawn of this beautiful day.
I will find where you’re hiding, allow me to unlock your door.
So warm and bright outside, the sun is looking this way.
And where would you rather be? Greeting the sunrise!
Here by the river, where you are most welcome to stay.
All alone in a lifeboat, searching for land to set foot upon the sand.
Born without a compass in a storm, finding purpose in every step I take.
How many weeks of seeking, rowing, just to reach the shore.
Is that you I can see, there waving at me.
And where would I rather be, as long as you are beside me?
Right here by the ocean, beholding the end of the day.
