Anymore - Lyrics

I came to say that I won’t stay.
Though I hate to leave you all behind.
On my way. Aiming at a brand new day.
Guided only by the sun.

To feel again, the warm and bliss of the southern winds.
Let them pull me away, beyond the horizon.
Everything will be all right. I can’t look back. Don’t worry.
I promise to call you when I’m there.

I walk in the city, looking for a place to stay.
Looking up at all the signs.

The grass looks greener. The future’s brighter.

Or is this nothing but self-delusion?

Sunny rays and rainy days turn and turn about.
Fair weather must be waiting around the bend.
Leaving no stone unturned. Year in year out. Further and further.
Somewhere under the next stone, gold’s awaiting.

Then I had my lucky break. Found the prize I was after.
But I’m not sure that I want it anymore.

Far from the milky way, further than light can travel.
My thoughts are still wandering back home.
